Typically curls last five to fourteen days depending on hair type, porosity, and maintenance. Sleeping with a satin bonnet, minimizing moisture exposure, and using light oils prolong bounce. Touch-ups can refresh curls midway without a full reset.

We recommend waiting 24–48 hours before washing to allow the set to fully form. Use sulfate-free, gentle cleansers and cold water to reduce frizz. When washing, dilute shampoo and focus on scalp to preserve curl pattern and longevity.

When done correctly flexi rod sets do not cause damage. Proper detangling, moisturizing, and gentle rolling protect strands. Avoid overly tight tension and harsh heat. If you have fragile ends we’ll recommend trims, deep conditioning, and protective styling to maintain hair health.

Clean, detangled, and well-moisturized hair provides the best results. Shampoo or co-wash, apply leave-in conditioner and styling cream, then section hair while damp. Avoid heavy products that weigh curls down; light hold creams give definition and longevity.

We use sulfate-free cleansers, lightweight creams, and curl-defining lotions suited for natural textures. Small amounts of nourishing oils seal moisture. Tools include soft flexi rods and wide-tooth combs. Product choices are personalized to your porosity and desired curl size.

Curls can be refreshed every 2–5 days depending on activity and hair type. Use a water-based spritz and light styling cream, or unravel and re-roll key sections. Sleep with satin protection and avoid heavy products that cause buildup between resets.
